HVPOA President's Message
Hello neighbors!
It’s been a long time since our last newsletter. Our Association meets on the second Thursday of each month at 7 p.m. at Absolute Towing on Valley Blvd. Prior to our regular meeting, we have our Neighborhood Watch meeting at 6 p.m....
Remember our community is only as good as our property owners make it. We need your help, so get involved. Come and help us make our neighborhood safe, find out what is happening in our area, and give us your input to any problems the neighborhood might have.
Our meetings don’t take a lot of time, just two hours each month. Sometimes we have guest speakers i.e., City Officials, representatives from fire and police departments, and we are lucky to always have Councilmember Huizar’ Field Representative, Cecelia Alatorre, at every meeting. So a lot of problems are solved with her help. She also informs us of what Councilmember Huizar is doing in the 14th District.
Hope to see you at our next meeting.
Bus Shelters
Our Association has been working with Councilmember Huizar in having bus shelters and benches placed around our area. One has already been approved for the North side of Soto at Multnomah. One will shortly be added at Eastern and Druid.
"Take a Bag Leave a Bag"
For all of you who walk your dogs in Ascot Park there are now stations where you can pick up these plastic to use for clean up after your pet. HVPOA is responsible for keeping two of the bins filled with bangs of the convenience of all neighbors who explore our neighborhood's park.
