On Saturday August 15th, HillsideVillagemembers participated in the city's community clean-up day that was organized by Council person Jose Huizar and his great staff. Many people from different community organizations and agencies also participated making this event a great success. HVPOA members and students from WilsonHigh School were assigned to clean a stretch of Valley Blvd beginning at Del Paso and end on Vineburn Street. There was much cleaning to be done but members showed great pride and strength and made a difference. We will be having more clean-ups within our village in the future so get ready residents!
